Volunteers needed!
WRV crew leader Ron and volunteers from Philadelphia Cares will be rescuing recently planted trees and removing invasive plants in the Wissahickon at the Kitchen's Lane site.
The site is located on Kitchen's Lane off of Wissahickon Avenue in Mount Airy. Meet at the parking lot near the bridge. Ignore the road closure signs, but drive carefully.

WRV supplies gloves and tools. Wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately to be outdoors for 2 hours. Feel free to bring bug spray. Bring plenty of water. Keep in mind that you will get dirty!

Sustainable Trails Initiative
