Monitoring and Maintenance Project (2004-current)

Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers is working on a monitoring and maintenance project that will allow us to document our efforts throughout the park. We will be using a GPS (Global Positioning System) unit and ArcView GIS (Geographic Information System) to map all of the areas that we have worked on in the past. We will then document what was done and what needs to be done. We will be able to prioritize our maintenance activities and the effectiveness of our efforts.
